Are your estheticians licensed?Yes. All Sassafras estheticians are fully licensed and trained hands-on the Sassafras way.
Do you wax men?Absolutely. We wax everyone and everything—men, women, and all genders.
How long does a wax last?Most clients enjoy results for 4–5 weeks, depending on hair growth and consistency.

Brazilian: Hair removal from front to back, with the option to leave a strip or design

It can be uncomfortable the first time, but it gets easier with consistency. Our techniques are fast and professional to minimize discomfort.

Yes—Ibuprofen, Aleve, or Tylenol are fine. Do not take aspirin, as it can thin your blood.

Hard wax: Best for sensitive areas; applied thick and removed without strips
Soft wax: Thin wax removed with muslin strips; ideal for larger areas
Sugaring: Natural paste removed in the direction of hair growth

For best results:
Do not shave between waxes
Wax every 3–5 weeks for consistent growth cycles
Avoid tanning 24–48 hours before & after waxing
Avoid exercise, hot tubs, pools, lakes, saunas, or oceans for 24 hours
Exfoliate 3–4 times per week, starting 24–48 hours after waxing
Avoid lotions, deodorants, sprays, or powders for 24 hours
Wear loose clothing
Keep follicles clean, especially after workouts
If irritation lasts more than 24 hours, try witch hazel, lavender oil, hydrocortisone, or triple antibiotic.
