After Care for Hair Removal
We want you to have the very best experience from beginning to end!
Please do not shave between waxing appointments! This prevents the hair follicles from getting on the same growth cycle. For best results, wax regularly every 3-5 weeks. Hair needs to be long enough to tug between two fingers for a successful wax.
Please do not tan before or after body waxing for a minimum of 24 hours, preferably 48 hours.
Please refrain from rigorous exercise, using hot tubs, and swimming in pools, saunas, lakes, or the ocean for a minimum of 24 hours.
Exfoliate (wash or scrub a part of the body with a granular substance to remove dead cells from the surface of the skin, such as a scrubby glove or loofah) regularly. We recommend 3-4 times a week. Wait 24-48 hours after waxing to exfoliate any areas that have been waxed!
Please be sure to exfoliate 12-24 hours prior to a waxing appointment. We offer a range of safe, quality products for exfoliating.
Do not apply or use powders, deodorants, body sprays, or lotions on areas that have been waxed for 24 hours afterward.
Avoid touching and sexual activity in areas that have been waxed for 24 hours. This helps prevent bacteria from getting into the open hair follicles.
Keep follicles clean by always showering immediately after exercise/working out.
If irritation persists after 24 hours, you can use witch hazel, lavender oil, triple antibiotic, or hydrocortisone cream.
Wear loose clothing on areas that have been waxed.
