You must be 17 years of age to be waxed without present parental consent.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by another adult while client is receiving services.
We here at Sassafras are excited you have booked your wax with us. That being said, due to the size of our salons, please do not bring additional guests that are not receiving services while you are here.
We cannot wax you if:
You are using any Retinol products on the area being waxed.
(i.e. Retin A, Renova etc.) Ask if unsure.
You are using any form of Accutane.
You have any kind of sunburn.
You are diabetic. However, we will wax you if you present a doctor's note saying it's okay.
Ladies, If you are on your period, please be respectful of our estheticians and wear an appropriate, clean feminine product.
Group Appointments (More than 2 individuals) Sassafras requires the contact name, phone number and email of each individual that is booking an appointment. Or a non-refundable deposit for half of all services booked on behalf of others.
Appointments an hour or longer will require a credit card to secure the appointment.
Being late on occasion is unfortunately part of life. However being an appointment based industry if you are late, you risk your appointment being cancelled. Our late policy is as follows:
If your appointment is a 15-minute duration and you are more than 5 minutes late, your appointment is at risk of being cancelled. If your appointment is a 30-minute duration or longer and you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment is at risk of being cancelled.
It is ultimately the estheticians decision on whether or not we will be able to precede with your appointment, if you are later than the time allowances.
Failure to call and let us know you are running late, and/or multiple late arrivals will result in canceled appointments and ultimately require prepayment for all future appointments.
Life happens, and we understand sometimes you can't make your appointment. However, we are a service industry that relies on set appointments for our services. With that being said, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Our exact policy is as follows:
It is the client's responsibility to communicate with us. Failure to call to reschedule and/or cancel your appointment without 24 hour notice (prior BUSINESS day, during business hours) will result in being charged for that appointment and require prepayment to schedule future appointments. There will not be a refund given for a prepaid/charged appointment if the client does not show up for the scheduled appointment, and/or does not give us 24 hour notice of cancellation.
Appointments that are a “No Call, No Show” will require prepayment for all future appointments scheduled. No refunds will be given for No call No Show prepaid appointments and/or missed on-line appointments.
