Why did you join this industry? I choose to work in this industry because I’ve always loved makeup and reshaping the brows. I also had interest in skincare. I thought this was a great field to go into and I love when a client leaves happy and satisfied.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Gum chewing, I don’t know how this pet peeve developed, but unfortunately it has. I don’t like chewing and I don’t like smacks or talks while chewing.

Favorite Self Care Act: My favorite self care is doing my makeup. I wake up early to do it before work most days.

If you could go anywhere in the world? I’ve been wanted to go to Grindelwald, Switzerland or go revisit Korea and Japan.

Why did you join this industry? I have always had a passion for beauty & science. I began researching aesthetics and fell in love fast, the idea of helping others like me with our changing bodies was a dream come true. I wanted to help others understand the way their skin works and how external & internal changes can impact our skin and even though we are done “growing” our bodies are constantly going through changes, and these changes affect the health of our skin. I realized that so many people have skin conditions and changes that they feel defeated or insecure over, and I wanted to help them! To guide them on their journey to healthy clear skin and get their confidence back with the knowledge of how to take care of their skin!

Biggest Pet Peeve: I hate loud cars, I live on a busy street and every time I hear a motorcycle or loud car drive by I get so mad!

Favorite Self Care Act: I love turning off my brain for a second by laying in my bed and just doing some deep breathing.

If you could go anywhere in the world? I’d love to go to Ireland or Scotland, see the sights and hang out with some sheep.

Where did you go to school? I went to GVSU and have degrees in Women, gender, and sexuality studies and French language.

Why did you join this industry? I love the beauty industry and have since I was in high school. Luckily I found an awesome community here and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Biggest Pet Peeve: When someone in front of you is trying to turn left and they slow ALL THE WAY DOWN in front of you, and THEN merge into the left turn lane. That one's the worst!

What is your favorite act of self care? Going out for coffee and pastries with my mom.

If you could go anywhere in the world? I have lived in France before, so I would want to go to Québec and explore the small francophone towns there!

Fun Fact: Tortoiseshell cats can only be born female because the tricolor gene is spread across two X chromosomes. If they are born male, they are XXY, and are thus sterile!
